Waterproofing Technician

Job overview

The Waterproofing Technician role is onsite in Arlington Heights, IL, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. The position supports Chicagoland Concrete & Waterproofing’s residential and commercial waterproofing and concrete work in the greater Chicago area. The technician helps protect buildings from water damage by applying waterproofing materials, preparing job sites, and installing drainage and moisture-control systems as directed. The role contributes to quality workmanship and lasting protection for customer properties while following job-site safety protocols.

What you'll do

• Apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants to foundations, walls, and concrete surfaces
• assist with excavation, surface preparation, and cleanup
• install drainage systems, sump pumps, and moisture barriers as directed
• operate hand and power tools safely
• follow crew-lead and supervisor instructions
• maintain a clean and safe job site
• load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
