What you'll do

• Use blueprints, shop orders, procedures, and instructions to perform departmental duties
• operate cranes and industrial trucks to move weldments
• prepare surfaces with sanders, scrapers, grinders, and abrasive blasting equipment
• apply industrial coatings and measure wet and dry film thickness
• inspect and repair finish defects
• maintain the spray booth and equipment
• record required readings and data
• follow safety practices and wear appropriate PPE.
