What you'll do
- Prepare, compile, analyze, maintain, and file medical records
- organize open and closed records for interdisciplinary staff access
- assign ICD-9-CM diagnostic codes at admission, during stays, and at discharge
- order forms and equipment as needed
- assist nursing with secretarial and clerical duties
- coordinate resident transportation appointments with facility drivers and outside services.
