Medi-Cal Coordinator

Job overview

The Medi-Cal Coordinator is an onsite role in Los Angeles, CA, with work across the STOP Placement Area 5 Office, CalAIM Enhanced Case Management office and parole offices in Los Angeles County. Compensation is $70,304–$75,000 per year. Amity Foundation works to support people affected by addiction, homelessness, trauma, incarceration and other forms of marginalization. The coordinator screens Medi-Cal eligibility and connects participants with appropriate services and placements. The role coordinates with parole, program staff and providers, maintains enrollment documentation, and supports access to medical, behavioral and social care intended to address participant needs and reduce recidivism.

What you'll do

• Screen STOP referrals for Medi-Cal eligibility
• develop placement recommendations based on screening and assessment results
• enter eligibility and enrollment information in the CDCR ARMS database
• conduct outreach for CalAIM ECM services
• coordinate referrals, placement logistics and care across providers
• validate placement requests and required documentation
• collaborate with parole and program staff
• supervise one Reentry Assessment Specialist or Administrative Assistant.

Why this role
