Job overview

The Electrical Engineer role is based in Indianapolis, IN, or Denver, CO; remote consideration is available for candidates with 8 or more years of engineering experience and a sound record of accountability. Compensation is $120,000 per year. InPwr is an electrical design-build firm working on complex projects across multiple states. The engineer leads electrical design for mid- to large-scale projects, oversees quality reviews, and serves as a technical resource for junior engineers. The role develops code-compliant design packages, coordinates project teams and stakeholders, and supports project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

What you'll do

• Design lighting and power layouts, one-line schematics, and panel schedules to applicable codes
• perform wiring, cable, and equipment sizing and calculations
• coordinate and lead electrical design teams
• work with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, utilities, and other trades on permit and construction packages
• manage design information
• review CAD designs, submittals, and technical documents
• coordinate budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary groups.
