What you'll do

• Coordinate transition of joint space operations and campaign plans into contingency planning for a 60-day-to-two-year horizon
• support joint planning under Joint Publication 5.0 and operations under the Joint Publication 3.0 series
• participate in operational planning teams
• develop and staff plans, orders, instructions, presentations, papers, and reports
• assess threats, risks, and trade-offs
• integrate plans with USSPACECOM and other stakeholders
• support Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercises, including travel, weekends, and extended shifts when required.

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship, an active/current Top Secret clearance with SCI, ACCM, and SAP eligibility, substantial joint future-operations or contingency-planning experience, and a bachelor's degree or higher. Exercise periods may require travel, weekends, and shifts up to 12 hours for approximately 5–14 consecutive days.
