What you'll do

  • Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care.
  • Documents patient information and performs other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion.
  • Greets and identifies correct patient and provides a brief explanation of requested procedure.
  • Performs all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and disposes of radioactive trash according to department policy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards.
  • Performs imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements.
  • Performs non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring.
  • Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean, organized work environment.
  • Participates in continuing education activities.
  • Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.

What we're looking for

Education
Graduate of accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
Experience
Prefer three years’ experience in nuclear medicine department.
