What you'll do

• Perform routine ultrasound procedures following radiologist protocols
• position and scan patients correctly
• enter patient information, protocols, history, and referring-provider details
• obtain patient histories to assist diagnosis
• identify patients, maintain confidentiality, and explain exams
• stock exam rooms and maintain equipment
• report equipment malfunctions
• prepare images for film printing and burn CDs as needed
• assist other staff.

Why this role

Current RDMS and RVT certifications and completion of an ultrasound course are required; a high school diploma or GED is required. Three or more years in sonography is preferred.
