What you'll do

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, small-parts, infant, and vascular studies
• support procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and thyroid FNAs
• ensure patient comfort and safety
• capture and document images and patient history
• collaborate with radiologists and physicians
• check, clean, and maintain equipment and rooms
• follow quality and safety standards and privacy policies
• participate in quality improvement and equipment quality-control activities. Call, weekend, and holiday coverage may be required as needed
• varying shifts or alternate sites may be assigned based on patient volumes and organizational needs.
