Certified Veterinary Technician — Emergency Care, 12-Hour Shifts

The Certified Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Meredith, NH, with pay of $25.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience. Meredith Place Veterinary Emergency provides emergency and urgent veterinary care to the Meredith community. The technician supports veterinarians and hospitalized patients through emergency examinations, treatments, procedures, nursing care, diagnostics, and recovery monitoring. The role also helps clients understand treatments, medications, and discharge instructions while supporting an accurate, efficient hospital workflow.

What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians with emergency examinations, treatments, and procedures
• provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
• perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, blood draws, and sample collection
• administer medications and fluids as directed
• monitor anesthesia and assist with surgery when needed
• obtain digital radiographs
• monitor recovery
• educate clients
• maintain medical records.
