Jarraff Operator — Mechanical Trimmer

The Jarraff Operator — Mechanical Trimmer role is onsite in Columbia, MO. Pay is $26 per hour. The position supports utility vegetation management by removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. The operator runs a Jarraff and other equipment, follows safe work practices, assists the crew with daily operations, and helps protect employees and the public while completing vegetation work and storm assignments as needed.

What you'll do

• Operate a Jarraff and other equipment as directed
• prepare equipment and materials
• help maintain and repair tools
• assist crew members and take a leadership role when required
• remove and dispose of debris
• set up barriers and warning markers
• track mileage
• perform storm work as needed.
