Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour. The technician supports the property’s day-to-day operations and physical condition under the direction of the Property/Operations Manager. The role exists to address maintenance needs, prepare vacant apartments, maintain building systems and grounds, and support safe, cost-effective property operations. It also includes scheduled emergency maintenance coverage and on-call maintenance as described in the posting.

What you'll do

• Complete assigned maintenance service requests and apartment make-ready work
• schedule and perform preventive maintenance
• monitor building systems and grounds
• coordinate with outside contractors
• maintain inventory controls
• report unusual occurrences or damage
• provide scheduled emergency maintenance and carry a phone for on-call maintenance.
