Welding Team Leader

The Welding Team Leader role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Pay is $18.00 per hour. The position leads the welding team and supports production goals, safety practices, and quality standards. The team leader communicates goals and deadlines, coaches and trains team members, monitors production and quality, and helps address downtime and defects. The role supports safe, reliable welding operations and department productivity.

What you'll do

• Review production boards
• communicate team goals and identify training or skill-check needs
• ensure quality parts and communication among team leaders, supervisors, and operators
• answer team member questions and oversee work for quality and guideline compliance
• set operator expectations
• enforce safety and PPE requirements
• verify safety and productivity documentation, production goals, PPH, and welding checks
• review scrap, defects, and rework and report issues
• maintain daily 5S
• multitask and keep supplies available.

Schedule lists Monday–Friday with Saturday as needed; day shift is 6:30 AM–3:15 PM with mandatory overtime up to 6:30 PM, and night shift is 6:30 PM–3:15 AM with mandatory overtime up to 6:30 AM.
