Construction Utility Foreman

The Construction Utility Foreman role is onsite at assigned construction jobsites in the Bossier City, LA area. Compensation is not specified. Benchmark Utility Services performs design-build, site, and underground utility construction, including work on mission-critical facilities. The foreman leads and participates in daily field operations, coordinating crews and ensuring utility installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications. The role supports project schedules, quality, and production goals while developing crew skills.

What you'll do

• Supervise field crew activities and time reporting
• oversee jobsite paperwork, including toolbox talks and dig permits
• review plans and track materials, deliveries, trucking, and subcontractor work
• inspect progress, equipment, and sites for safety and specification compliance
• troubleshoot operational issues
• communicate with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors
• coordinate and train crew members
• monitor job costs, schedules, production, and quality
• conduct equipment checks
• read blueprints and mark site locations.
