What you'll do

• Review construction drawings, specifications, sequences, and addenda to identify low-voltage scope
• prepare estimates for building automation, energy management, power monitoring, lighting controls, teledata, and audiovisual systems
• perform quantity takeoffs and labor estimates
• coordinate vendor pricing
• clarify trade scope boundaries
• identify gaps and coordination risks
• prepare assumptions and exclusions
• assist with value engineering
• participate in bid reviews and turnover meetings
• price change orders
• maintain estimating databases and historical pricing.
