The Youth Pastor role is onsite in Minot, ND, with a total compensation package of $50,000. The position oversees Immanuel Baptist Church’s Children’s and Youth ministries for grades K–12. The church’s vision is to help people find and follow Jesus and help others do the same. The pastor leads children and teens toward belonging, involvement, and spiritual growth through worship, small groups, volunteer teams, outreach, curriculum, and mission and service events. The role develops ministry programs and relationships that help young people take next steps in discipleship.

What you'll do

• Oversee Children’s and Youth ministries for grades K–12
• model biblical priorities and participate in church activities
• recruit and train volunteers with the Sunday School Superintendent
• develop youth participation in worship
• teach biblical principles in relation to real-life issues
• build structures that keep children and youth engaged
• develop programs, events, and mission opportunities
• preach and teach on selected Sundays and at other events
• plan evangelism and fellowship events
• follow up with visiting and returning children, youth, and families
• build connection points and implement a discipleship strategy.
