The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Sub-Acute, Full-Time Evenings role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Pay is $25.50–$29.61 per hour. Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center serves the Hollywood community and surrounding areas with medical and nursing care. Working under a manager and with direction from a Registered Nurse, the CNA provides individualized basic care, observes and reports patient needs, and supports safety, dignity, and daily living activities. The role contributes to the patient care plan for adolescent through geriatric patients, with the listed age-specific focus on adults and geriatric patients.

What you'll do

• Provide basic patient care addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs
• implement assigned care plan activities under RN direction
• assist with bathing, oral care, positioning, line changes, and ambulation
• observe and report patient concerns
• respond to safety issues and emergencies
• respect patient privacy and dignity
• reinforce education identified by the RN
• practice universal precautions
• complete hourly rounding and update whiteboards
• participate in in-services, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities.
