CAD Designer

Job overview

The CAD Designer position is hybrid in Lexington, MA, with at least 3–4 days onsite each week; compensation is not specified. The role supports a leading defense research organization and its digital engineering work. The designer develops complex mechanical and opto-mechanical designs and supports the Innovator Product Lifecycle Management platform. The work contributes to fabrication-ready systems and digital engineering through design, modeling, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines.

What you'll do

• Develop complex designs for imaging systems, thermal packaging, novel materials, and mechanisms
• design and model mechanical enclosures and optical assemblies
• collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
• support the Innovator Product Lifecycle Management platform and its users.
