CDL A Driver Trainee - Day Shift

The CDL A Driver Trainee position is an onsite role based in Edwardsville, IL. The compensation for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, supporting the supply chain and distribution department at Mclane Company, Inc. This role exists to provide hands-on training and coaching to prepare individuals for a full Driver position. The trainee will work alongside experienced trainers to learn safe tractor-trailer operation, equipment inspection, and delivery procedures to ensure efficient product transport.

What you'll do

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer
• operate truck safely in compliance with regulations
• inspect equipment for defects
• operate Driver Delivery Handheld
• maintain driver logs
• assist in unloading trailer
• provide customer service.
