Therapist, Older Adult Mental Health

Job overview

The Therapist role is onsite with multi-location coverage across Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, and Newville, PA, and pays $45–$60 per hour. The schedule is flexible Monday–Friday during daytime business hours, with an estimated 32 hours weekly and no nights, weekends, or on-call schedules. PsychoGeriatric Services partners with long-term care facilities to expand access to mental healthcare for seniors. The therapist provides psychiatric care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. Through counseling, care coordination, staff education, and timely documentation, the role supports patient-centered care and the clinical teams serving older adults.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and family counseling
• coordinate care and consult with facility administrators, nursing directors, and social services teams
• follow state and federal clinical guidelines and PGS protocols
• educate staff and support holistic, patient-centered care
• maintain clear, timely documentation.
