The optometrist provides examinations, diagnosis, and treatment to support residents’ vision and eye health. The role delivers care at the bedside and works with healthcare professionals to help patients maintain comfort and independence.

What you'll do

• Perform routine comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts and dilated exams
• provide diabetic evaluations
• treat infections and injuries
• repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
• diagnose and treat ocular disease
• provide care to geriatric patients.
