Trench Shoring Business Development Manager

The Trench Shoring Business Development Manager role is onsite in West Valley City, UT. The position exists to establish a trusted trench safety presence, develop customer relationships, and build a profitable specialty rental business. It combines business development and technical guidance with safety education and coordination with rental operations, service, transportation, and branch teams.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute the trench safety and shoring growth strategy
• identify and secure business with contractors, municipalities, industrial customers, and infrastructure projects
• build customer relationships and partner with sales teams to quote and close opportunities. Recommend trench protection systems, evaluate jobsites, coordinate engineered solutions when needed, provide demonstrations and field support, and educate customers and employees on safe practices. Partner with Rental Operations on fleet needs and utilization, coordinate with service and branch teams, and track revenue, gross profit, utilization, pipeline activity, and customer adoption. Travel throughout Wheeler's territory is required.
