Amphenol High Speed Products Group is establishing an AI engineering capability within its New Product Introduction organization to support products for the Datacom and Telecom markets. The engineer will lead the architecture and delivery of secure, production-ready AI applications that improve engineering workflows. The role turns prototypes into maintainable products by integrating approved enterprise data, establishing engineering standards, and applying evaluation, human oversight, observability, and access controls.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI applications and agents
• develop retrieval-augmented generation services and a governed NPI knowledge layer
• create evaluation, testing, monitoring, guardrail, and cost-management practices
• integrate approved enterprise data sources
• implement secure APIs, access controls, logging, and privacy controls
• own architecture and technical roadmap
• establish engineering standards
• plan delivery with business and engineering partners
• mentor technical contributors.
