Structural Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Compensation is $20–$24 per hour. The Structural Engineering Intern (Summer 2027) role is onsite at Enclos’s corporate office in Bloomington, MN, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., for 10–12 weeks in summer 2027. The internship is paid, but Enclos designs, engineers, fabricates, and installs custom curtainwall systems for major building projects. The internship gives a student in a civil or structural engineering program hands-on experience in structural analysis and curtainwall design. The intern learns from licensed engineers, develops software and analysis skills, participates in project and department meetings, and applies knowledge to a live project under a licensed Professional Engineer’s guidance.

What you'll do

• Learn curtainwall design concepts, company operations, Revit, and AutoCAD
• explore façade loading, building movement, anchorage design, industry standards, and structural calculations
• progress through weekly learning topics and apply skills to project work
• attend project and department meetings
• and contribute to a live project under a licensed Professional Engineer.
