Job overview

Food Preparation and Service is an onsite role in Rifle, CO, with three 12-hour shifts. Pay is $15.50–$21.00 per hour, based on experience. The role supports the Long Term Care Center’s Nutritional Services Department at Grand River Health Care Center, whose mission is to improve community health and well-being. The role helps provide residents with meals and a safe, clean dining environment. It contributes to patient-centered care through food preparation and delivery, cafeteria service, sanitation, and coordination with other Nutritional Services staff.

What you'll do

• Prepare and pack hot and cold meals according to recipes
• check food temperatures and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Serve cafeteria customers, take meal orders, explain menu items, and process purchases. Clean kitchen, cafeteria, equipment, and dishes
• monitor supplies and report low stock. May assist with conference room accommodations and Meals on Wheels preparation.
