The Accounting Technician — Accounts Payable role is onsite in Kannapolis, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The posting lists pay of $21–$23.55 per hour. The technician processes and reconciles agency invoices, prepares payments, and maintains purchasing and expense records. The role supports the finance team’s operational efficiency, policy compliance, and year-end close and audit work.

What you'll do

• Reconcile, prepare, and input payments for goods and services
• compile and organize invoicing documents for expense tracking
• assist with year-end accounts-payable closing
• update the annual purchase-order list alongside scheduled check runs
• document staff non-compliance with finance policies
• assist with audits by compiling financial records, transaction histories, and invoice backups.
