Utilities Specialist

Job overview

The Utilities Specialist role is onsite in Charles City, IA, with pay of $25–$30 per hour. Yokohama TWS designs and manufactures tire and wheel solutions for agricultural, material handling, construction, and motorcycle markets. The specialist maintains utility and power equipment so plant operations have stable power, steam, compressed air, and water conditions. The role supports production by inspecting and maintaining equipment, recording operating parameters, coordinating with production and maintenance teams, and responding to abnormal conditions and emergencies.

What you'll do

• Monitor air compressors, substations, transformers, boilers, pumps, and distribution equipment
• inspect operating conditions and record parameters
• prepare and test softened water
• conduct waste heat recovery and boiler room inspections
• perform routine maintenance and simple parts replacement
• coordinate with production and maintenance when issues arise
• maintain records and a safe, clean work area
• respond to emergencies according to the disaster control plan.
