Burglar / Fire Alarm Service Technician

Job overview

The Burglar / Fire Alarm Service Technician role is onsite in Springfield, MO, servicing systems in and around the area. Compensation is $50,000–$65,000 per year. Federal Protection provides security system services for financial, commercial, and residential settings. The technician diagnoses and repairs security and fire alarm equipment, tests systems after repairs, and completes required documentation. What you'll do

• Analyze equipment malfunctions and repair or replace defective components
• remove and replace electronic, electrical, and mechanical components using hand tools and manuals
• test equipment to confirm defects are corrected
• comply with applicable laws and company policies
• complete paperwork and timesheets accurately and promptly.
