Job overview

The HVAC Service Technician role is field-based, serving residential and light-commercial customers in Hillsborough, NJ, and surrounding Central New Jersey communities. Pay is $35–$42+ per hour. Pezz Heating & Cooling provides residential and light-commercial heating and cooling services. The technician diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and installs HVAC systems to provide reliable customer comfort. The role combines technical service and preventive maintenance with clear customer communication, accurate documentation, and safe work practices.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial HVAC systems
• service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, boilers, mini-splits, and rooftop units
• test system performance and identify efficiency or safety issues
• install equipment and components to code and company standards
• perform seasonal tune-ups and preventive maintenance
• explain issues and repair options to customers
• document work and follow safety procedures.

Why this role
