Purchasing Manager

What you'll do

• Develop purchasing strategies aligned with operational requirements and financial objectives
• evaluate and select vendors
• assess supply-chain risks and mitigate disruption
• procure raw materials, components, and finished goods
• negotiate vendor pricing, contracts, and terms
• maintain supplier relationships
• coordinate with Operations, Sales, and vendors
• maintain vendor records in ERP systems
• issue purchase orders
• report material trends and problems
• monitor inventory levels and replenishment
• assist with cycle counts and discrepancy reconciliation
• support Lean initiatives
• track purchasing metrics and report insights to senior management.
