The Registered Nurse — Full-Time or Part-Time role is onsite in Louisville, KY, with shifts available from 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m.; a Friday–Sunday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. day-weekend shift is also available. Compensation is $34–$38 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials. Parkwood Health & Rehabilitation is a resident-centered skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The registered nurse provides and evaluates resident care, administers medications and treatments, documents progress, and reports changes in condition. The role coordinates rehabilitation needs and supports nursing assistants’ assignments and documentation to help meet resident needs.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care according to standards, physician orders, facility policies, and applicable guidelines
• plan and monitor nursing interventions
• evaluate care effectiveness and develop alternatives
• educate residents and families
• administer medications and treatments
• transcribe orders and chart progress
• report condition changes
• follow skin-management protocols
• order and report diagnostic tests
• coordinate rehabilitation with therapists
• monitor CNA documentation and assignments.
