CNC Operator – Weekend Shift

The CNC Operator – Weekend Shift role is an onsite, full-time position in Hardinsburg, KY, paying $18.50–$20 per hour. The role supports Whitworth Tool’s precision machining work on components for defense, aerospace, and automotive applications. The operator runs CNC machines and checks parts against specifications to help maintain accurate, efficient production. The role also includes tooling adjustments, equipment care, secondary finishing work, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while collaborating with the machining team.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision components
• measure and inspect work using gauges, check sheets, and print dimensions
• adjust and maintain tooling, offsets, inserts, and setups
• maintain coolant and oil levels
• use cranes or hoists when needed
• deburr, polish, and prepare finished components
• maintain a safe and clean workspace.
