What you'll do

• Collect blood and other clinical or forensic specimens
• process specimens
• verify patient demographics and labeling in the patient’s presence
• maintain records and documentation
• provide a safe, professional patient environment
• and perform daily activities accurately and on time. Travel between sites and flexible hours are required
• the listing specifies Monday–Friday shifts of eight or ten hours between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM, plus every other Saturday.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections; six months of phlebotomy experience is also identified as mandatory. Phlebotomy certification is strongly preferred but not required in Florida. Mileage reimbursement is available for floaters.
