The CNC Precision Equipment Reliability & Maintenance Mechanic is a full-time, onsite role in Franklin, MA, paying $33.00 per hour. The mechanic supports a precision manufacturing operation with a broad range of CNC machines and peripheral systems. The role exists to keep complex production equipment reliable by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, diagnosing failures to their root causes, and validating repairs. It also contributes to equipment-reliability improvements through performance-data analysis, repair documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair CNC and precision manufacturing equipment
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, and control systems
• diagnose component-level failures and root causes
• analyze machine-performance indicators
• support predictive maintenance
• plan repairs and select tooling
• collaborate with engineering
• program and operate CNC equipment as needed to verify repairs
• document findings
• improve maintenance instructions and bills of materials
• follow applicable FDA and ISO requirements.
