The technician supports the operation and maintenance of an assigned photovoltaic power plant by monitoring performance, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Accurate work orders, safety practices, and maintenance documentation contribute to plant efficiency and energy-generation goals.

What you'll do

• Monitor plant operation through SCADA
• commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC solar PV systems
• perform preventive maintenance under supervision
• complete CMMS work orders and required reports
• inspect and clean PV equipment
• verify SCADA configuration
• prepare procurement and vendor-service documentation
• follow electrical safety, environmental, Job Hazard Analysis, and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures
• maintain site housekeeping.
