CNC Technician

Job overview

The CNC Technician role is onsite in Prospect Heights, IL. Pay is $35–$55 per hour. CNC Exchange, a division of Gray Machinery Company, seeks a technician to maintain and repair CNC equipment. The technician troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems, performs preventive maintenance, and supports basic machine operation. This work helps keep customer CNC machinery operating reliably.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic CNC equipment components
• address issues with motors, ball screws, spindle heads, gearboxes, and related systems
• disconnect power sources and diagnose faults
• perform preventive maintenance
• coordinate with manufacturers’ parts and service departments
• perform basic CNC machine operation.
