The Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room role is onsite in Omaha, NE. Pay is $65–$70 per hour. The role provides perioperative nursing care to surgical patients across pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative phases. The RN serves as a circulating nurse, maintains the sterile field, anticipates the surgical team’s needs, and advocates for patient safety. The role also includes patient assessment, consent and site verification, surgical counts, specimen handling, documentation, and handoff to the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

What you'll do

• Perform pre-operative assessment
• verify consent, patient identity, and surgical site
• participate in surgical time-out
• maintain the sterile field and monitor aseptic technique
• document instrument, sponge, and sharps counts
• handle and label specimens
• document intra-operative care
• hand off care to the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
