Lead Preschool Teacher

The Lead Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Knoxville, TN, Monday through Friday. Pay is $14–$20 per hour, based on education and experience. The teacher supports children’s learning and development through the employer’s play-based curriculum. The role plans and leads age-appropriate activities, supports children’s daily care, and prepares them for kindergarten. It also includes communication with parents and team members, classroom management, oversight of junior team members’ daily tasks, and assistance with facility management as directed.

What you'll do

• Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities
• support children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development
• prepare children for kindergarten using the provided curriculum
• assist with meals, potty training, changing, and nap time
• communicate with parents and team members
• oversee classroom management and junior team members’ daily tasks
• assist directors with classroom and facility management as directed.
