The Overnight Emergency Veterinarian role is onsite in Ellicott City, MD, at Falls Road Animal Hospital. What you'll do

• Perform patient examinations and medical work-ups
• communicate with and educate clients
• perform diagnostic procedures and surgery
• maintain medical records
• prescribe medications and follow controlled-substance protocols
• promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• coordinate with the Hospital Manager on priorities
• monitor hospital cases and attend rounds when possible
• evaluate hospital protocols from intake through discharge
• participate in practice updates and training.
