The Teacher’s Aide – Afternoon Shift role is onsite in Baltimore, Maryland. Pay is $16 per hour. The aide supports Caliday’s school-age program, which aims to provide children with safe, engaging learning experiences. Working with the Program Director and School Age Teacher, the aide helps run before- and after-care activities, supervises children, maintains a safe classroom, and communicates with families and the school community. The role contributes to a welcoming environment where children can learn and participate in age-appropriate activities.

What you'll do

• Assist with program operations and age-appropriate activities
• supervise children and use appropriate behavior-management techniques
• maintain classroom cleanliness and safety
• communicate with parents, team members, and the school community
• identify program issues and work with the teacher or director to resolve them
• maintain annual certification requirements and continuing education credits.
