Tooling Technician

The Tooling Technician role is onsite in Plant City, FL. Compensation is listed at $21–$22 per hour. LidWorks designs and manufactures packaging solutions and the role supports its Engineering Team and production operations. The technician prepares and installs tooling, supports changeovers and production startups, and maintains tooling and shop supplies. The work helps production lines meet specifications and quality standards while supporting prototype activities and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Review setup sheets and verify tooling components
• evaluate die sets and production lines before installation
• install tooling and adjust equipment
• troubleshoot and debug before production startup
• complete installation sign-offs and Tool Change Acceptance documentation
• support post-changeover startups
• maintain and inspect tooling
• manage wear-part and shop-supply inventory
• provide off-shift support as needed
• collaborate with Engineering
• maintain a clean machine shop and tool room.
