Barista (Part-Time)

The Barista (Part-Time) role is onsite at Ben University-Krasa Student Center in Lisle, IL. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The position supports Chartwells HE’s campus food-service team. This role prepares and serves coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverages while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and service standards. It helps provide customers with accurate, courteous service and keeps the service area ready for ongoing operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes
• enter orders and accept payments
• replenish supplies
• maintain clean equipment and work areas
• follow HACCP and food-preparation standards
• serve customers courteously and efficiently
• explain menu items and merchandise food attractively.
