What you'll do

• Drive a personal vehicle to client facilities unless other arrangements are made
• collect blood samples using established phlebotomy procedures
• identify patients before drawing
• label specimens and ensure correct tubes and requisitions, including billing information
• follow policy for transporting protected health information
• organize draw schedules by patient priority
• complete logs and timesheets
• coordinate with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments
• maintain equipment
• respond promptly to the company-issued mobile device while on duty
• and notify dispatch of availability for future assignments.
