The Behavior Interventionist 1:1 is an onsite role based in Brookfield, VT, offering a pay range of $23 - $28 per hour. This position supports the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing alternative education programs for children and young adults. This role exists to provide direct, individualized behavioral support and intervention to students in grades K-8. By implementing proactive strategies and responding to crisis situations, the interventionist helps students improve their social-emotional and academic outcomes while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

What you'll do

• Implement targeted behavioral interventions, reinforce positive student behavior, maintain accurate records of behavior strategies, collect and analyze behavioral data, provide support to classroom staff, apply applied behavior analysis principles, conduct behavioral observations, assist with instructional activities, provide crisis intervention, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
