What you'll do

• Plan, provide, supervise, and document nursing care
• collaborate with nurses, physicians, OB technicians, and other team members
• chart patient care in the electronic health record
• assess and report changes in patient condition
• perform interventions according to care plans and policies
• participate in quality and process improvement
• educate patients and families before discharge
• collect blood specimens
• review obstetric and gynecologic history
• provide fetal monitoring, labor support, infant care, and lactation assistance
• circulate cesarean sections, tubal ligations, or D&C procedures as needed.
