What you'll do

• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease, including scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and nonsurgical therapy
• perform periodontal surgery, including osseous surgery, crown lengthening, and LANAP procedures
• place dental implants and perform bone grafting, sinus lifts, and ridge augmentation
• perform soft tissue grafting and other mucogingival procedures
• coordinate treatment planning with referring general dentists
• educate patients on periodontal health, treatment options, and postoperative care
• maintain clinical records.
