Direct Support Professional – Female Client

What you'll do

• Support independent living skills through one-to-one or one-to-two service
• help individuals identify and practice coping skills
• teach community integration skills, including medication self-management, personal finances, interpersonal interactions, public transportation, home maintenance, and accessing community resources
• facilitate socialization and appropriate behavior
• participate in recreational events
• teach healthy living habits
• provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household support
• accompany individuals to community activities and appointments as needed
• follow universal precautions and complete required training and visit verification.
