After-School Enrichment Specialist

The After-School Enrichment Specialist works onsite in Fulton, NY, part time, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., for 20 hours per week and 37 weeks per year. Pay is $17.26–$21.32 per hour. Oswego County Opportunities is a nonprofit human service agency serving people through more than 50 programs. The role provides direct early-intervention services and enrichment activities to youth in the After School at OCO program. It supports participants’ safety, well-being, development, and connection to resources while maintaining communication and records in accordance with program requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide consistent, nonjudgmental youth services and enrichment activities
• monitor participants’ physical and emotional well-being
• support recreational and social activities and reinforce program limits and boundaries
• handle routine situations and refer unusual concerns
• communicate with coworkers, supervisors, school personnel, parents, and the public
• connect youth with resources
• complete required electronic and other documentation.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and 12 months of experience working with children under 13, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training; valid New York State driver’s license and access to a reliable insured vehicle required.
