Security Captain

Job overview

The Security Captain role is onsite in Merrifield, VA, at one or more client sites. Compensation is $32.80 per hour. Securitas provides security services to help safeguard clients’ people and assets. The Captain supervises security personnel and helps ensure post orders, rounds, reporting, and emergency notifications are handled appropriately. The role supports consistent security coverage through staff training, scheduling, inspections, client communication, and personnel oversight.

What you'll do

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other assigned personnel
• ensure post orders and rounds are followed and reports are submitted
• notify authorities and clients during emergencies
• coach, discipline, and train staff
• assist with payroll and coverage
• meet with client representatives
• inspect posts
• prepare reports
• and perform Security Officer duties when needed under post orders and company policies.

Why this role

Former law enforcement or military experience and five years of security supervisor experience are required; a college degree in Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.
