The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist — Part-Time role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with a schedule of one to three days per week. Compensation is $35,000–$55,000 per year, with an opportunity for additional variable, commission-based income. Vitae Health Systems provides medical and behavioral health services to residents of skilled nursing facilities. The therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats emotional and behavioral conditions to support residents’ well-being and adjustment to medical and life changes. The role provides therapy and crisis support, develops treatment plans, and coordinates care with facility clinicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Conduct psychosocial assessments
• develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• provide individual, group, and/or family therapy
• address depression, anxiety, grief, cognitive decline, and adjustment to illness or disability
• collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and rehabilitation teams
• maintain clinical documentation
• provide crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies when needed
• educate staff and families on mental health conditions and communication strategies.
